Dept. of Insurance Releases Health Care Top 10

The Department of Insurance released a Top 10 Changes Resulting From the Affordable Care Act:

  1. Eliminate preexisting conditions as basis for denial or exclusion
  2. Price equity
  3. Price stability
  4. Premium value
  5. Prohibition against unwarranted rescissions
  6. Family financial security
  7. Health care affordability
  8. Marketplace transparency (state-based exchange)
  9. Health care based on medical necessity
  10. Health care, not “sick care”

    Thanks Rob. I know that there are many points to argue against the Health Care Reform Bill, but these are some of the really god things that it brought.
